NETRF promotes collaboration and resource sharing among funded researchers and the community, both crucial in advancing science.

Resource sharing

Unique research resources created by NETRF funds must be readily available to qualified individuals, after publication. NETRF has partnered with several like-minded organizations that promote resource sharing.

Tissue specimens:

In partnership with Rare Cancer Research Foundation (RCRF) and, tissues from NET patients that are undergoing surgery are directed to the Cancer Cell Line Factory (CCLF) at the Broad Institute, for generation of NET cell lines.

Plasmids or viruses:

Investigators that have created new plasmids or viruses are encouraged to submit them to Addgene.

The NETRF researcher community

NETRF’s Annual Research Symposium (link to Research Symposium Page) is a safe platform to present information on unpublished research resources. It has spearheaded multiple collaborative projects between investigators that are now leading to much needed translational research with therapeutic potential.

Grant programs via partners

NETRF is dedicated to accelerating progress for better treatments and potential cures through partnerships with aligned organizations and private foundations.

Sponsored annual grants:

  • American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
  • North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS)
  • Education and Research Foundation for Nuclear Medicine and Imaging (ERF)
