  • Status: Completed
  • Year(s): 2015
  • Research Type: Translational
  • Primary Tumor Site: Other
  • Area of Inquiry: Immune environment

General Description

The status of the immune ‘landscape’ of neuroendocrine tumors before therapy and after modulation by therapy is unknown. The proposed study will analyze reactive T cell subsets including characterization of the regulatory factors limiting effective immune-mediated tumor elimination. This will inform the development of a truly personalized medicine approach capable of inducing tumor regression and durable disease control.
