Sylvia's Story

Sylvia Solis Lopez was a woman of unwavering faith, deep love, and courageous strength. Diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in May 2024, she faced her journey with courage, grace, and an unshakable trust in God’s plan. Every step of the way, she inspired those around her with her resilience and her ability to find light even in the most difficult moments.

Sylvia’s life was defined by deep devotion to her faith, family, education, mathematics, and love for cars. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and enduring spirit. Even in her final days, her heart remained open and her faith unbroken.

Sylvia passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. While our hearts ache with her absence, we are comforted by the knowledge that her legacy of love and faith will continue to shine brightly.

Sylvia leaves behind her devoted husband, Joey Lopez; her daughters, Daniella Lopez Valdez (Hector), Denisa Lopez Narvaez (Adan), and Danika Lopez Bigger (Brett); her cherished grandchildren, Luca and Amaya Valdez; her loving mother, Maria Concepcion “Connie” Solis; her sisters, Cindy Saldaña (Mike) and Sandra Pope (William); her nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Dulce Blue.

Through this Everlasting Impact Tribute, we honor Sylvia’s memory and her fight against NET. In supporting the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation, we hope to advance research, bring hope to others, and help create a future where fewer families face this battle.

Sylvia’s light will never fade — it will live on in the lives she touched and in the ongoing fight for a cure.
