Investing in research to find a cure for neuroendocrine cancer
“This is EXACTLY what Katherine wanted us to do.” ~ Mueller/Sells Family
Katherine Mueller lived valiantly and courageously with NETs for more than three years. Never one to sit idly by, Katherine, while enduring surgeries and countless treatments for her cancer, mobilized her friends and family to raise money for neuroendocrine cancer research.
After raising more than $128,000, Katherine and her family funded a NETRF research grant awarded to Dr. Peter Clark at UCLA to study pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (Pan-NETs), the same neuroendocrine cancer that Katherine had.
Following Katherine’s passing in 2021, her family founded the Katherine’s Light Foundation to honor Katherine’s wish to continue to fund neuroendocrine cancer research to build brighter futures for patients living with NETs.
It was Katherine’s wish to advance research as much as possible and as quickly as possible. That’s why the Katherine’s Light Foundation has a new lifetime giving goal of $250,000. Please help the Katherine’s Light Foundation and NETRF ensure a world free of neuroendocrine cancer by making a gift below.
