Biography

Laken Baird joined NETRF in October of 2022 as the Development Coordinator. On the frontline of NETRF’s daily operations, Laken’s contributions support the vital function fueling the funding of groundbreaking research — philanthropy. She plays an essential role in the Foundation’s fundraising program through daily management of donor records and gift processing. Through database management and reporting, Laken enhances the visibility of key metrics for growth. 

Previously, Laken supported fundraising efforts of organizations focused on children and young adults with special healthcare needs. She graduated from Simpson College in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology where she also studied Computer Programming. A native of the Midwest Region of the USA, Laken finds fulfillment knowing her work at NETRF is helping to improve the lives of those living with neuroendocrine cancer
