Coping with emotions during COVID-19
Before a global pandemic turned people’s lives upside down, managing a NET diagnosis was stressful. Now, the strain of juggling delayed or canceled appointments, isolation, and even worrying about exposure to COVID-19 is adding uncertainty, anxiety, and grief to people’s lives.
In this video interview, oncology social worker Kalen Fletcher, MSW, LICSW, MPH from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston joins Elyse Gellerman, NETRF Chief Executive Officer, to talk about managing mental health during COVID-19.
Watch as Kalen and Elyse talk about dealing with changes, treatment delays, and disruptions to cancer care. You’ll learn how to combat feelings of isolation, anxiety, or sadness with effective coping strategies.
