Poetic Reflections of a NET Journey

We introduced you to Lilly Pearce back in 2019, when she was about halfway through her senior year of high school and six months post-operation to remove several pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.

Today, Lilly is a senior at the University of Michigan, studying Romance Languages, Literature and Creative Writing. She is also the Managing Arts Editor for the Michigan Daily.

Lilly used her love of the written word to chronicle her NET diagnosis detailing the frustrating misdiagnoses, the terrifying fear of the unknown, and her family’s unwavering love and support.

Lilly has graciously shared her poems with NETRF and our community. Read Lilly’s works here.
