The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) is deeply grateful to Citizens of Humanity for donating $28,000 through the sale of The Lindz, a jean created in honor of Lindsay May Palevsky.
Citizens of Humanity has a longstanding tradition of naming its styles after women who inspire the company. The Lindz was an especially personal addition to that tradition.
Lindsay was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother, as well as a cherished friend. She embodied grace, resilience, loyalty, and strength, leaving a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. She was also known for her love of butterflies, which continue to hold special meaning for her family and friends.
The idea for The Lindz originated with Jared Freedman at Citizens of Humanity, who wanted to create a meaningful tribute to Lindsay. With its low-rise fit and relaxed, straight-leg silhouette, the jean reflected Lindsay’s grace and effortless sense of style.
Throughout 2025, Citizens of Humanity donated $50 from every pair of The Lindz sold on its website to NETRF. Together, those purchases generated an extraordinary $28,000 for neuroendocrine cancer research.
We are grateful to Jared and the entire Citizens of Humanity (@citizensofhumanity) team for honoring Lindsay through this initiative. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Lindsay’s husband, Jon Palevsky, and her dear friend Simone Harouche (@simoneharouche) for sharing Lindsay’s story and helping others learn about the remarkable woman who inspired The Lindz.
The $28,000 donation will help advance NETRF’s mission to fund research to discover cures and more effective treatments for neuroendocrine cancers. By supporting innovative scientists and promising areas of study, NETRF is working to deepen our understanding of these complex cancers and create better options for patients and families.
The impact of The Lindz extends beyond the funds raised. The initiative introduced more people to the urgent need for neuroendocrine cancer research and gave them an opportunity to be part of a deeply personal tribute.
To everyone who purchased a pair of The Lindz, thank you. Each purchase honored Lindsay’s life and contributed to research that offers hope to people affected by neuroendocrine cancer.
We are honored to remember Lindsay May Palevsky and profoundly grateful to Jared Freedman, Citizens of Humanity, Jon Palevsky, Simone Harouche, and everyone who helped make this tribute possible. Lindsay’s legacy continues through the people who loved her and through the research this generous gift will help advance.
