NETRF Scientific Advisor Dr. Daniel Halperin Takes on Pivotal Role at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University

NETRF is pleased to announce that Daniel Halperin, MD, one of our distinguished Board of Scientific Advisors members, has been appointed Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

In his new position, Dr. Halperin will spearhead the expansion of Emory’s neuroendocrine tumor program, ensuring the continuation of groundbreaking research and clinical care in this field. Additionally, he will focus on clinical operational excellence across Emory’s multicampus academic health system. This work is designed to serve a highly diverse population, aligning with Dr. Halperin’s passion for fostering inclusive and comprehensive cancer care.

NETRF congratulates  Dr. Halperin on this new position. His expertise and vision will significantly benefit the Emory community and continue to advance neuroendocrine tumor research and care.
