On February 29th, employees and friends of eGlobalTech participated in a BodyPump exercise class led by Lauren Maxwell at VIDA Logan Circle to raise funds for NETRF in memory of eGlobalTech founder and CEO, Sonya Jain.
Lauren is also an employee of eGlobalTech and arrived a month before Sonya passed away in December of 2017. Lauren thought it would be a positive event to host while paying respect to a wonderful leader and person.
All participants gave an entrance donation, and other employees gave additional donations, which were generously matched by Sanjiv Jain, husband of Sonya and now CEO of eGlobalTech. Altogether this group raised a total of over $4,000! Participants also included Sanjiv and Sonya’s daughters, Ritika and Eisha, who made the event even more special.
All event proceeds will also be matched through the Spark Hope campaign, resulting in an inspiring total effort of over $8,000 raised for NET research to honor the memory of Sonya Jain.
