NETRF’s strong financial position, transparency, and accountability again earned it a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator, a national evaluator of nonprofits. The 4-star rating indicates the utmost in fiscal responsibility, ethical practices, and governance.
A rigorous assessment of integrity
This is the third year in a row NETRF achieves the highest possible rating by Charity Navigator based on 17 metrics, which focus on governance and ethical operations, in accordance with industry best practice.
“Our 4-star rating by Charity Navigator affirms our commitment to responsible oversight and stewardship of donors’ gifts in pursuit of our mission,” said Joseph Ming Wah Li, MD, chairman, NETRF board of directors.
Only a quarter of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator achieve the distinction of a 4-star rating. The 4-star designation helps philanthropists identify the most fiscally responsible and ethical charities, when deciding where to make their donations. NETRF received a perfect score for its commitment to accountability and transparency.
