Update on 2025 NETRF Grant Cycle

Grant Cycle UpdateAt NETRF, our annual Request for Applications (RFA) is a cornerstone of our mission to fund innovative research in neuroendocrine cancer. This two-stage process is designed to identify and support the most promising, high-impact projects.

In the first stage, researchers submit Letters of Intent (LOIs) outlining their project’s goals, significance, and alignment with NETRF’s mission. These LOIs are carefully reviewed by our scientific panel, who provide detailed scores and feedback. Based on this evaluation, a select group of applicants is invited to advance to the next stage: submitting full grant proposals.

We’re excited to share that LOI submissions increased by 30% for the 2025 grant cycle compared to last year, highlighting the growing innovation and momentum in neuroendocrine cancer research as well as the urgent need for funding. The LOI review phase was completed in the spring and full applications are now under review.

Those full proposals will undergo a second round of rigorous review before final funding decisions are made this fall.

Stay tuned as we continue through the review process. Learn more about our grant process.
