Annual Firsty Family Moonlight Walk

Last year the goal was to raise enough money to sponsor a NETRF Mentored Research Award in Julie’s name focusing on the treatment of lung NETs (which is what she had). Thanks to all of you – we MADE IT 😊. The goal this year is $15,000 so that the research can continue. The good news is we have one donor who will match the donations 1:1, up to a total of $5,000. That means we need to raise $10,000 which then becomes $15,000.

Some quick updates this year

– Shay passed his CPA, works hard at Ernst and Young (EY), bikes, goes to the gym and figures out how to travel whenever he possibly can. He went to Hawaii and South Korea this year.

– Alana is a senior at Chapman, very involved in school activities including a sorority and is training to run in the Athens Marathon

Although Shay, Alana and myself are all in different cities, on the night of Friday, September 25^th the three of us will each do the Palo Alto Moonlight Walk in different locations and join each other at the same time ‘virtually’ on WhatsApp.
