Help raise money for the Vincent E. Taylor Education Fund at NETRF in honor of Suzanne Ludlow's retirement

Please join the City of Takoma Park, Maryland and the NET Research Foundation (NETRF) in celebrating Suzanne Ludlow’s retirement as City Manager. Suzanne began her career with Takoma park in 1993 and has served as City Manager since 2015. Suzanne’s last day will be July 1, 2021. In honor of everything that she has accomplished, make plans now to attend her retirement party.

When: Friday, June 18th
What Time: 12 – 3 p.m.
Where: Ed Wilhelm Field

In lieu of presents, guests are asked to make a gift to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation, a cause that is close to Suzanne’s heart. In 2012, Suzanne’s husband Vincent was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor (NET), an uncommon and often misdiagnosed cancer. He lived with NETs for six years. Throughout that journey, there was much they learned. In her retirement, Suzanne plans to provide support and education for patients with NETs. Already, her fund helped establish NETRF’s podcast series, NETwise and a NET Patient Guide, a critical resource for patients and families who are dealing with this uncommon cancer. Today, more than 17,000 listeners have tuned into a podcast episode and nearly 4,000 patients and families have requested the NETRF patient guide.
