Please join the NET Research Foundation (NETRF) in honoring the memory of Judith Jones by supporting Judy’s Walk.

Judy’s walkers will set out on an 11-mile walk on Nantucket on June 15, 2021 to raise money for the Judith Jones Memorial Fund for NET Research at NETRF. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 to fund important neuroendocrine cancer research in the hopes that no other family will lose a loved one too early in life to this often misdiagnosed and underfunded cancer.

"We chose to host this fundraiser in the place Judith loved most. Mom fell in the love with the island as a young woman after a few visits with her husband Art,” says Judy’s son Mark. “This love was only strengthened when her daughter Sandie and son-in-law Steve bought a house just outside of downtown. Judy spent countless days on the island with her family. She could be found walking the shops up town, dining at one of her favorite restaurants, bringing the grandkids to the candy or toy store, or just relaxing and enjoying what the island had to offer. Her ashes were scattered just outside of Brant Point at the mouth of Nantucket Harbor."
