General Description
Immunotherapy is being explored in many tumor types with encouraging results, but there is limited investigation of this modality for patients with NET. In this project, we will characterize the immune-landscape in NET and investigate the effect of therapy on the immune cell tumor infiltration. We will also determine which relevant immune-modulatory pathways control the function of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. We anticipate the data generated will guide a rational approach for combination immunotherapy for patients with NET and improve outcomes for patients.
